North Spitsbergen - Arctic

I feel very privileged to have been fortunate enough to board the ship (professor Multanovsky) and tour the Norwegean Island of Spitsburgen. Drawings and photographs of the dramatic light and landscape here have provided many years of inspiration for my paintings. I was also lucky enough to see polar bears, walruses and many seabirds including the incredible seabird colony of Fuglesongen.
